Mike's tuba arrives!

Everybody did their own thing today. Mostly rest for tonight's performance at Shostakovich Hall.

I found an internet cafe.

Mike and Alan tour the St. Petersburg Tuba factory who loaned us the Tuba yesterday.

Shostakovich Hall is an impressive venue with tons of history.

Our part of the performace included Brad's solo with organ, the quintet by itself, and the quintet with organ.

The Hall was not quite full, but this is a huge Hall. Again, the warm reception and graciousness of the Russian audience overwhelmed us, "the American's".

Of course, afterwards we all went out with our new friends to the Jazz Fan Club, and toasted each other with vodka till the early hours of the morning.
